Since places are limited (the participation is free of charge), this makes the competition for IMAT3E space intense and requires us to be very selective in processing papers for acceptation.
The review criteria are as follows:
- Research question: why the authors do this research and what is its importance and application.
- Novelty: a paper gives new ideas, derivations, applications that has been not studied before or little- or not in depth-studied.
- Literature review: to identify the research gap with recent references from 2010 onwards.
- Research methodology: analytical, numerical or experimental or mixed. What is the contribution of the authors, assumptions and/or approximations used, description of apparatus and its limitations, steps of experiments, etc.
- Quality of results: and the depth and logic of the discussion.
- Insight conveyed and recommendations that might be used by others for future work.
- Standard of writing: clear and logical presentation, appropriate style, lack of errors, ease of reading, correct grammar and spelling, conformance with specifications for length and format details.
- Langauge: used effectively to communicate the ideas and easy to understand with least or no grammatical error or typos.
IMAT3E is indexed in Publons (part of Clarivate Analytics) which is is a commercial website that provides a free service for academics to track, verify, and showcase their peer review and editorial contributions for academic journals and conferences. Therefore, it is recommended to follow the Publons Review Template.
A researcher's peer review and editorial contributions can be displayed on their public Publons profile to show the world the impact they have on their research field and enhance their career. Publons rewards you for documenting your review history by providing you with a verified record which you can use in funding and promotion campaigns.
